PQQ (pyrroloquinoline quinone)

Pyrroloquinoline quinone (referred to as PQQ) is a small quinone molecule that is adept in reducing oxidants (an antioxidant effect) by acting as a REDOX agent and then returning to its original form with the help of glutathione. It is quite a durable molecule, being able to withstand several thousand of these cycles before being depleted. PQQ is an important antioxidant which boosts the formation of new mitochondria, along with supporting heart health and cognitive function.
