Rhodiola
Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea), is known as an adaptogenic herb because of its ability to normalize hormonal secretions, either by boosting production when they are low or reducing them when they are in excess. A number of studies have shown improvements in both physical endurance and cognitive performance, as well as a reduction in fatigue due to stress. Rhodiola’s working mechanism assists neurotransmitter transport in the brain and the blunting of catecholamine release.
