The Science

Delta and Gamma-tocotrienol:

Vitamin E is made up of eight different compounds, half what are known as tocopherols and the other half, tocotrienols. These Delta and Gamma tocotrienols are powerful antioxidants that work at the cell’s surface and help support a healthy vascular system and coagulation contributing to overall cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Studies performed on the health and habits of large groups of people, have shown that cardiovascular health is greatly impacted by the intake of diets rich in tocotrienols, such as grains, vegetables and fruits.  

Specifically, tocotrienols have also been shown to support healthy cholesterol profiles.

Pantethine:

Pantethine, a derivative of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), is directly involved in the production of coenzyme A(CoA).  CoA is a helper molecule that facilitates oxidation which is involved in the metabolism of fat, cholesterol, carbohydrates, and amino acids.  Additional helpful properties of pantethine, include:

• Lowering apolipoprotein B up to 27.6 percent
• Increasing apolipoprotein A-I
• Boosting HDL (good cholesterol) quantity and quality while supporting healthy triglycerides
• supporting healthy arteries.
• Slowing the oxidation of LDL.

Citrus Bergamot Extract:

Citrus Bergamot is a small pear-shaped citrus fruit related to the lime family, and cultivated primarily in Italy. It contains the unique compounds Melitidine and Brutelidine that have been shown to increase HDL, while helping to maintain healthy total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides and blood glucose levels.
