When we are young, our body plays a harmonious symphony. As we get older, however, those same instruments start to play out of key and ruin the orchestra. This happens because certain genes in our DNA are switched on and off in the wrong way, ultimately influencing lifespan, as has recently been shown in scientific literature. The root of this disharmony during aging is that certain chemicals in the body stick to the casings (histones) of our DNA cells, causing certain genes to be turned on when they should, in fact, be off.
Behind this mechanism are a family of compounds called Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) that oxidatively damage cellular macromolecules. This happens because certain levels of NAD (oxidizing or reducing agent in metabolic reactions) decline, which causes a loss of communication between the nucleus and the mitochondria in our cells. This, together with a shortening of the telomeres (the caps at the end of the DNA strands which prevent DNA from unraveling), reduces the cell’s ability to make energy.
All this manifests in signs of aging, causing people to search for natural anti-aging solutions.
It was previously believed that it is these “mutations” in DNA that irreversibly causes aging. However, scientists now believe that these changes are really brought about by external factors and therefore it should be possible to turn the genes back off, dramatically slowing down the aging process due to the fact that the damage is not a mutation at all.
In this regard, recent scientific work has shown that certain proteins called Sirtuins are responsible for modulating the levels of ROS in the body. The more these Sirtuins are activated, the more they are able to “clip” off the responsible chemical groups which incorrectly turned the genes on in the first place. Once this cellular communication is restored, cells begin producing energy at their once-youthful levels thereby significantly slowing down the aging process, or even possibly reversing it.
REKINDLE™ is a natural anti-aging product uniquely formulated to incorporate ingredients shown to slow down the aging process and which works directly on the energy production ability, efficiency, and lifespan of the mitochondria in cells, while at the same time repairing damage caused by oxidation.*
As we age, the DNA strands of our body unravel, causing common system breakdowns and ailments associated with aging. Rapid aging can affect energy, weight, cardiovascular health, cognitive function, and mitochondrial function.
REKINDLE™ is a top anti-aging product that combats the aging process with essential ingredients that maintain youthful cell energy and production.*
REKINDLE™ supports mitochondrial function, cognitive function, weight management, cardiovascular health, and energy levels.*
REKINDLE™, taken together with RESPARK™, are the core IGNITE YOUR YOUTH™ anti-aging supplements.*

The Science
Resveratrol:
Resveratrol is a one of the most potent polyphenic bioflavonoid antioxidants that is known to halt the effects of aging.* It is found in certain foods and drink including the skin of red grapes, red wine, raw cocoa and dark berries and it is produced by various plants as a mechanism and response to stressors within the environment.*
In studies that were performed on fruit flies, fish, mice and nematode worms, it was demonstrated that the group that was given resveratrol displayed amazing anti-aging benefits and lived longer compared to control groups that were not treated with this phytonutrient.*
Besides helping to protect an aging heart and keeping arteries healthy, this phytonutrient has additional health benefits including reducing inflammation, potentially helping to manage weight and protecting cognitive health among the elderly. * Resveratrol contains antioxidants that protect against free radical damage that occurs, even during everyday bodily functions such as eating and exercise.* This damage is accelerated due to poor lifestyle habits such as unhealthy eating habits, smoking, and in response to environmental pollution and toxicity. If left unchecked, free radicals can damage cells.*
Pterostilbene:
It is a plant derivative from the same family as resveratrol. Scientists have discovered that Pterostilbene mimics many of the beneficial anti-aging effects of caloric restrictions.*
Studies have shown that at diet-achievable doses, pterostilbene is a more potent modulator of cognition and cellular stress than resveratrol.*
L-Carnosine:
The interest in longevity-boosting compounds has led to the intensive research of L-Carnosine. This compound has shown significant anti-aging qualities, as well as providing support to tissues in the heart, brain and eyes.* Carnosine is highly concentrated in the brain and muscles, but these levels drop with encroaching age .
Apart from the fact that it is an antioxidant and glycation-fighting nutrient, L-Carnosine also acts as a PH buffer that protects muscle cell membranes from oxidation during muscular exertion.* Cells and tissues benefit throughout the body from this compound which would otherwise yield to the adverse effects of aging.*
CoQ10:
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), is a powerful antioxidant found in almost every cell in the body, and is an integral component of healthy mitochondrial function. Its primary purpose is to help regulate the oxidation of fats and sugars into energy, enhance blood flow and protect the blood vessels.* Young adults are shown to have 50% more CoQ10 than older people, and as the levels decline, mitochondrial dysfunction increases causing an acceleration of the aging process.*
Moreover, CoQ10 is also known to enhance blood flow and protect the blood vessels. This process is related to nitric oxide preservation in which CoQ10 can help support healthy arteries and maintain healthy LDL levels.*
Astaxanthin:
Aging takes a toll on our cells, which slowly change and become damaged through oxidation. Astaxanthin is a potent antioxidant that protects your cells from oxidation so that your cells can remain younger and free from damage.* In a study performed on animals that received 20 mg of astaxanthin daily for four months, there was an improvement in the cellular function of the white blood cells and higher glutathione levels. The scientists believe that the supplement worked by repairing damage to the DNA and protein – two process which are closely linked with aging.*
